Coffee, Cards & Chat

Hello stampers!

You certainly know my motto by now: Better late than never! I have been crafting quite a bit but not found the time to photograph and blog any of it...
So all my very best intentions for this week (lol), I'll try and share everything - watch this space!

On the first Friday of the month, we meet for our monthly Coffee, Cards & Chat class, take a look at what we made this time:

A Mother's Day Flowerpot Card

I really love this type of card, when you pull up on the flowers it will show the card beneath where you can write your greeting. I will do another blog post with measurements and instructions in the next few days, promise!
The base card is Sahara Sand, layered with a piece of Best Year Ever DSP and matching ribbon. The Flowers are stamped using the Bloom for You stamp in Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Crisp Cantaloupe and then punched out with the co-ordinating Fun Flower Punch.

A Fun Flower Card

in Lost Lagoon - the base card is layered with a piece embossed with Decorative Dots and some ribbon tied around it. We used the Moonlight DSP Paper Stack and Fun Flower Punch to make the flowers and the 7/8" Scallop and 1/2" Circles for the centres.
A Sympathy Card
in Crumb Cake and Whisper White with a hint of Pear Pizazz and Pool Party. The Kinda Eclectic stamp set is so versatile and perfect for this type of card. We sponged around all of the edges and pieces to create more dimension and finished the card off with some Pool Party Baker's Twine and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
The Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set was used for all of the greetings on the cards, punched out with the Word Window and Modern Label Punches. These three products go so perfectly together and are a must have for every card maker in my opinion!
I also used it for the little welcome goodies I made for my stampers!
Do you enjoy making cards and would like to join in next time, if you are local to New Malden, please contact me to reserve your place.
The next class is on Friday, 1st May 2015 @ 9.30am.
Thank you for visiting today.
