Sending Love Postboxes

Hello stampers!

Finally, I had time to play with some of the products from the new Spring/Summer catalogue and here is my take on the little postbox from the Sending Love Suite on page 14.

I think they make a super cute Valentine's Gift, especially when they are filled with the recipients favourite chocolates!
I used the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack and cut them out with the Big Shot using the Baker's Box Thinlits.

The Happy Valentine's Day greeting is from the Sealed with Love photopolymer stamp set, stamped in Real Red Ink onto Whisper White Card, punched out with the 2" Circle Punch and layered onto a 2 3/8" Scallop Circle (retired) punched piece in Real Red Card. As that punch is not available any more from Stampin' Up! you could use the Layering Circle Framelits instead to achieve a similar look.

The Sending Love Embellishments in wood are just gorgeous! You get 36 pieces, 6 each of 6 designs for £5.50 and they add that extra little detail to your project to make it pop.
To close the postbox, I decorated a little, wooden peg with a strip of Real Red Card, a banner cut shape and glued the wooden heart embellishment on top. I also added a little bow in Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine (retired), a great, little idea to use up leftovers from your Christmas stash...

I made a few matching Valentine's postboxes and cards, they went down a storm at a recent charity craft fair I attended.
I hope you like them, too!?
Have a lovely weekend.
Petra xx
