Petal Passion Designer Series Paper With Stampin' Blends

Hello stampers!

It's been a while since my last blog post but when life takes over some things just have to take a back seat...

I have managed to do some crafting but haven't had the time to share it with you, so without further ado, here is my top pick from the Spring/Summer catalogue: The Petal Passion Designer Series Paper!

This Designer Series Paper and the Stampin' Blends are an awesome combination! Using blender pens to colour in this gorgeous paper is not only relaxing and therapeutic, it also turns out very pretty cards!

You will all know by now that I do love pretty paper and this DSP ticks all the right boxes for me!
Stunning in just black and white but there is so much more you can do with it: stamp it, sponge it, colour in the images. There are lots of options but I've decided on colouring in for todays projects.
I chose Powder Pink as my base card and picked two Stampin' Blends colours for the flowers: Pink Pirouette and Daffodil Delight and Old Olive for the leaves.
I used the Happy Birthday greeting from the Soft Sayings Card Kit, stamped it in Basic Gray ink on to Whisper White Card and cut it out with an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and also tied some Whisper White Organza Ribbon around the spine.
Here is what you need to make the cards:
Ink: Basic Gray
For the 'blue' cards, I chose Soft Sky as my base cards and coloured the flowers in Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Pink Pirouette and the leaves again in Old Olive.
This time I also coloured in the background of the DSP and used the lighter shade of the Pool Party Stampin' Blend.
If you enjoy colouring in than this DSP and the Stampin' Blends are a MUST for you!
You can find all the products you need to make these cards in my Stampin' Up! Online Store or by clicking on the product list above.

Have a great day!
Petra xx
